i found an oddity though: if i move to the right here, the second dragon will instantly move up and eat me without spending a turn getting activated, is that a bug?
i see! thanks for ur answer. i took time to solve the puzzle today and now that i did i can tell even though it felt like more of a pain than anything at first, in that final room it becomes really important and makes the puzzle really good. cool stuff!

it's a bug, but i find it a very interesting restriction so i kept it in!

had to come back to this multiple times before figuring out the final room, very nice!!
The final room nearly broke me! Who knew putting dragons to bed was so difficult?!
hah, yeah it's pretty tough ::P even i didn't know a configuration like that could end up so hard
